The best twitter desktop client is…
Just yesterday I would have said tweetdeck. A week before that twitterfox and a few months before that probably twhirl. But today the best twitter desktop client had to be Seesmic’s new preview client. At first it would seem to be a ripoff directly from tweetdeck. Look a bit deeper and you see that it has the two main features that had me unsatisfied with tweetdeck just a day or two ago.
The first and most important difference is that it can do multiple accounts. That is a must for me as I have accounts for both business, personal, and for several side projects. The best part is that Seesmic went beyond my imagination and found a perfect way to make using multiple accounts productive. Instead of having several accounts you swap between and several threads you have to follow it integrates them all together. You can respond from any account which means that someone I follow with one account says something I would like to respond to from another is simple.
There are tons of other goodies like saved searches and group listings in the sidebar for easy access that make this the best twitter client for your desktop. For now…
Until next time,
Heath

I think I’ll give it a try. I’m playing with some client accounts and think I may get some use out of the multi-account functionality. BTW, you should link to them if you mention the product, keep me from having to google it.
